We are currently seeking support for two essential pieces of laboratory equipment that will allow us to begin feasibility studies immediately. Both systems will be housed in a secure research facility within the local University Research Park, ensuring proper laboratory infrastructure and immediate scientific use.
In Vivo Fluorescence Imaging System
Used cost: $15,000 – $30,000
Purpose: Real‑time visualization of tumor targeting, biodistribution studies, and early feasibility imaging.
Desktop Mini LC‑MS System
Used cost: $15,000 – $30,000
Purpose: Conjugate analysis, stability testing, metabolite profiling, and early PK/PD feasibility.

Our Story
Jsuru Therapeutix was founded with a clear and urgent mission: to develop new therapeutic options for pancreatic cancer — a disease that remains one of the deadliest cancers and one that disproportionately affects Black communities and members of the U.S. military.
As a Black woman scientist and entrepreneur, our founder, Dr. Nzola De Magalhães, has navigated structural and systemic barriers that make it harder to advance breakthrough technologies. These challenges do not reflect a lack of innovation — they reflect longstanding gaps in who receives the resources to drive scientific progress.
Despite these obstacles, Jsuru continues to move forward because the need is too great to ignore. Our therapeutic platform has the potential to transform pancreatic cancer treatment, but to generate the feasibility data required for clinical advancement, we need access to specialized laboratory equipment.
