Reimagining the Future of Pancreatic Cancer Treatment
Jsuru Therapeutix, Inc. is a mission-driven biotech startup developing a first-in-class,
multi-functional therapeutic for KRAS-mutant pancreatic cancer—one of the deadliest and most
treatment-resistant cancers in the world.
Led by a Black woman scientist and backed by global patents, we are building a new frontier in cancer therapeutics.
Why This Matters
Pancreatic cancer disproportionately impacts Black communities and military veterans exposed to toxic environments. Around 90% of pancreatic cancers carry KRAS mutations, which are notoriously resistant to chemotherapy and immunotherapy. Current options are limited, and survival rates remain unacceptably low.
We are working to change that by targeting KRAS-driven disease with a novel, multi-modal therapeutic platform.

Our Therapeutic Platform
Our lead compound is designed as a single, patented molecule with three synergistic therapeutic domains:
- Drug-mediated therapy to disrupt tumor metabolism and survival pathways
- Antibody-mediated targeting to home in on cancer cells
- Photo-mediated therapy to add precise, light-activated cytotoxicity
Together, these mechanisms aim to block tumor growth, reduce immune suppression, and lower toxicity by replacing
multi-drug cocktails with one intelligently engineered compound.

Our Current Raise
We are raising $500,000 in a pre-seed round to complete feasibility animal studies and prepare for IND-enabling work and non-dilutive grants.
Use of Funds
- In vivo feasibility studies – preclinical animal testing
- Histology, imaging, and statistical analysis
- Lab consumables, materials, and supplies
- Incubator space and core operations
These milestones position Jsuru Therapeutix for SBIR/DOD grants, strategic partnerships, and early acquisition interest.
Why Jsuru Therapeutix Stands Out
- 3-in-1 therapeutic design (drug + antibody + phototherapy) in a single conjugate
- Targets KRAS-mutant cancers, which drive ~90% of pancreatic tumors
- Preliminary animal data showing strong cytotoxicity with no observed treatment-related fatalities
- Global patent estate with issued patents in the U.S., Japan, and Mexico; pending in Canada and the EU
- Experienced leadership with 23+ years in biomedical research and UCI clinical advisors in pancreatic cancer
