K-12 Education
Jsuru Therapeutix, Inc. plans to establish summer paid internships for high school students from low-income neighborhoods and underrepresented backgrounds. Over the summer, students will be paired with a STEM career mentor at Jsuru Therapeutix, Inc. and be engaged in hands-on biomedical lab training and interactive academic activities. The goal is to increase their scientific literacy, encourage pursuit of higher education, gain job experience, and spark their interest in STEM careers.
African Nations Scholars Sponsorship and Traineeship
Jsuru Therapeutix, Inc. plans to establish relationships with universities in African nations, to sponsor graduate and postdoctoral level African students in the U.S. to gain hands-on experience in entrepreneurship and in biomedical research at the company’s facility.
